ITINERARY DETAILS

DAY 1

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport (JRO) you will be met by a member of DASSIE SAFARIS team who will transfer you by road to SAME LODGE at same, Kilimanjaro. Enjoy your meals, and overnight stay at LODGE. What we love more about the lodge is its tranquility environment, charming staff, salient services and easily accessed. Some activities may be arranged in the early evenings, short walks and viewing of the tallest free-standing mountain, the Mount Kilimanjaro. Get free lullabies chirps and thrills from nocturnal crickets/insects keep on reminding you on your whereabouts.

DAY 2

After a warm breakfast at SAME LODGE at around 08:00am drive to MKOMAZI NATIONAL PARK, for game viewing and drives, visiting the rhino sanctuary and set your eyes on the endangered African mammals (mega herbivore) and the Africa hunting dogs. The sanctuary has a lot to offer. With lunch at a picnic site, after lunch do a short game drive, transfer to TANGA BEACH RESORT AND SPA LODGE for dinner and overnight stay. We love the lodge because of its guaranteed and reliable services, fully furnished deluxe rooms as well as suite rooms, luxury hotel facilities, swimming pool and conference venues.

DAY 3

After a warm breakfast at TANGA BEACH RESORT AND SPA LODGE at around 08:00am drive to SAADANI NATIONAL PARK a place where the bush meets the beach for an excursion, visiting the Wami River a 395km long crocodile infested river, MAFUI SANDBANK, MBUYU MARIA and MANDETE, a Tanzania mainland green sea turtles breeding ground among other sub-destinations. With lunch at picnic site do a short game drive, embark back to TANGA BEACH RESORT AND SPA for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4

After a warm breakfast at the lodge at around -8:00am, drive to Bagamoyo a town founded in the end of 18th century. Though it’s an extension of a much older 8th century settlement (KAOLE). Explore the historical building, tombs and settlements of this area. It has a lot to offer make a visit and discover the hidden stories. Enjoy lunch at picnic site, after lunch transfer to Dar es Salaam to catch a flight or else.
